We were happy to celebrate a triple event:

The blessing of the Virgin of the new winery,

The 301 years of the house C. Marey & Comte Liger-Belair,

The launch of the Domaine's Eau De Vie de Vin in collaboration with the Paris distillery.

Father Louis de Raynal, parish priest of Gevrey Chambertin, blessed the statue of the Virgin of the new winery and all our guests!

This was the occasion to remind a part of the family history with the foundation of the trading house by Claude Marey in 1720, which after three hundred years is still in the hands of the family despite many ups and downs...

This was also the occasion to present to the world our Eau de Vie de Vin elaborated in collaboration with Nicolas Julhès of the Distillerie de Paris.
This Eau de Vie de Vin is the illustration of each vintage, and will be proposed each year through a cocktail imagined by a friend of the domaine.
The first three vintages were entrusted to the inspiration of Xavier Thuizat, head sommelier of the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, Chef Pierre-Sang Boyer, and Nicolas Julhès.

A cocktail reception, created by the Burgundian chef Laurent Parra and the Parisian chef Pierre-Sang Boyer, was shared with our guests who were also able to taste several wines from the Domaine and the Hospices de Beaune.
The evening was accompanied musically by saxophonist Nicolas Fourgeux and his jazz band, and artistically by the Dijon artist, Skima and his original works.

The next event at the Domaine will probably be the inauguration of the future "Lieu de Vie" in November 2022!
