"Comtesse Liger-Belair" Rose baptism

On 20 June, Georges Delbard nurseries and rose gardens named a rose variety of their own creation:

"Comtesse Liger-Belair"

The "baptism" took place at the Comte Liger-Belair family Estate.

The "Comtesse Liger-Belair" rose is a bush with grouped flowers, 60 to 70 cm high.

These flowers are made up of sixty petals and take on the appearance of old roses when fully open. It flowers continuously from June until the frosts.

Powerful, deep, complex and bewitching fragrance exudes notes of spice and fruit, combining bergamot, vanilla, red fruit, lilac and lily of the valley.

The 'Comtesse Liger-Belair' rose will be available from autumn 2024 in garden centres and at www.georgesdelbard.com.
